Last week I visited Halle (Halle).

This time the city pleasantly surprised me. It turns out, to my shame, I knew very little about this region, which is only 30 km from my home.

The Gallorians live in the city of Galle, who have mined salt from time immemorial to this day. So real, salty and free from preservatives and impurities – Siede Salz. It is the Gallorians who put on their elegant uniforms on Christmas Eve, fasten them with 18 silver buttons and go to the President of Germany with a gift, with salt.

And salt, my friends, is the commodity that the Vikings brought to Russia. Those. it turns out that the first trade relations between the Russian land and the then Slavic land began precisely in Halle.

Even in Halle there is a very interesting art gallery, where one of Klimt’s paintings weighs freely, without protection. Halle is also a city of 5 towers. In one of which we visited and touched the bells.

The ringing of bells is the most magical music for me. And I was allowed to knock on them or on them, I don’t know how to do it right. And then they arranged a private concert for us, they played Christmas songs on 70 bells.
